She made her debut as a 13-year-old as a musician and made the 1959 revydebut with Karl Gerhard.
“She was a good actress,” says Pernilla Skifs, who worked with her in the Mardie at the Göta Lejon theatre in 1992.
During his broad and long career did Lena Hansson work with song and music, theatre, and television.
As a 13-year-old she played bass in the Merit Hemmingsons orchestra and made in 1959 revydebut in Karl Gerhards “Pardon the glove”. TV-the debut took place in Åke falck’s entertainment program “down in the park”. She moved to Stockholm at the age of 15, and remained in the city the rest of life.
Working with the major
Lena Hansson worked and played with the elite of the Swedish entertainers, as Carl-Gustaf Lindstedt, Beppe Wolgers, and Povel Ramel. In 1960, she participated in the Eurovision song contest with the song “You give me the desire to live”, and ended up with a seventh place. She was also on Svensktoppen, the song “Yes it was” the year before.
She also toured in the folkparks with Svante Thuresson and Ann-Louise Hansson, and got to jump in as a replacement for Monica Zetterlund in Hasse and Tages revue Svea Dog at Göta Lejon.

Lena Hansson was born in 1944 in Östersund. According to an obituary in Today’s News-she died 8 november, 71-year-old.
