BBC turns off the ‘Top Gear’ profile Jeremy Clarkson – Aftonbladet

He is one of the UK’s biggest TV profiles.

Now shut “Top Gear” -programledaren of Jeremy Clarkson, reports the Daily Mail.

The reason for the shutdown is reported to be a brawl with a producer. The BBC’s decision means that Sunday’s episode of “Top Gear” is set.

In a statement, the BBC says that Jeremy Clarkson , 54, shut down pending an “investigation”

“No one else has been turned off. The BBC will not give any further comment at this time, “says the statement.

” Top Gear “aired for the first time in 2002. The show is one of the world’s most Views factual programs, has been awarded the prestigious Emmy Award.

But recently, Jeremy Clarkson ended up in trouble several times. In May last year, reported the Daily Mirror that he expressed himself grossly racist in a “Top Gear” elements, which never aired.

After that wrote the television profile chronicled in The Sun. In which he claimed that the BBC had given him a clear message: If you express offensive again to get fired.

“Even the angel Gabriel would have had to struggle to survive with that hanging over his head,” wrote Clarkson in the Chronicle. There, he denied that he expressed himself racist.



Controversial statements

And the 54-year-old has been accused of racism before. In March 2014 he spoke disparagingly of an Asian man in a “Top Gear” program. The BBC later convicted of racism by the British control body Ofcom.

2011 described his program leader colleague Richard Hammond Mexicans as “irresponsible and inflated” in a section. Clarkson responded by saying that they would not receive any complaints, because the Mexican Ambassador safely asleep.



Called presenters

The news that Jeremy Clarkson is turned off hit like a bomb in the UK. The reactions in social media is divided: some are dismayed that Sunday’s “Top Gear” is set, but others think it is time that the BBC marks the presenter.

The protagonist himself has not commented on the incident. But in late February, he published a tweet in which he called for a new “Top Gear” -programledare:
“It’ll be old, poorly dressed and pedantic but able to come to work on time.”

The tweet got lots of fans to believe that Clarkson was running away. But in fact, was the reason behind the post that Mr James May was delayed. At least if one is to believe Jimmy Clarkson then.

“Top Gear” is broadcast in Channel 5 and Channel 9 in Sweden.
