Yesterday was the season premiere of Channel 5′s comedy program “partying” – as in autumn becomes stage show.
The eighth Season of långköraren “partying” premiered yesterday at 21.00 in Channel 5. Total program was seen by 320,000 viewers, according to preliminary figures from the MMS. Ratingen in Channel 5′s main target group 15-44 years was 3.8 percent. The audience share was 15.2 percent.
That compares with the fall premiere of “partying” which was seen by 360,000 viewers, and last spring’s premiere was watched by 300,000 viewers.
– It is a lovely and stable start to the “Partajs’ eighth season, says Dan Panas, Press Manager at Discovery Networks, Dagens Media.
This fall, get humor program new life when it is set up as a stage show at the Circus Theatre in Stockholm which is a new scene. The idea to make a show of “partying” has been around a long time, says Lasse Karlsson, producer.
– I have tried to get the “partying” on stage for almost four years, but they have not been so hungry. Televisions have taken all the time they had, but then Johan Petersson and I got to know each other a lot because of my nagging and now it was the right timing.
What hope you see the show?
– Generally when it comes to humor shows it is a very broad audience. We want to be amused beyond the television screen. If you will talk ages, it is well 30-55 year olds somewhere, but there has been a shift in the world. In the past it was very old stuff they saw on stage, now there are a lot of new stuff, a new generation will find out the scenes. It’s fun, says Lasse Karlsson.
Dan Panas:
– It’s super nice when our programs come to life even in the scenes and it is proof of the commitment that we see that the program also creates with us, and have done in eight seasons.
