The photographer Lars Tunbjörk death – Aftonbladet

The photographer Lars Tunbjörk has passed away 59 years old.

It confirms the family for the Daily News.

Lars Tunbjörk began working as a press photographer already at age 15 in his hometown Boras Newspaper.

He then worked for companies such as Aftonbladet, Stockholm newspaper and magazine Vi.

A report commissioned Line Operated newspaper Up and Down eventually evolved into reportage “Country Beside Itself” 1993 was a major breakthrough and made Lars Tunbjörk to one of Sweden’s most famous photographers.

He had great success with his exhibitions abroad and was described in The New Yorker as a photographer with a great sense of humor.

Over the years managed to Lars Tunbjörk with more than 40 exhibitions of his photographs.

1982, he won the award “Best Photographer” and 2008 Scanpix great photo price.

Lars Tunbjörk leaves among others cohabitant Maud Nycander behind.
