Christmas Gift: Beatles music is streamed – Kristianstadsbladet

The Beatles are one of music history’s greatest success stories, but there have often taken the time to get out the group’s music digitally. Their album was admittedly out on CD for the first time in 1987, but it took 22 years before they remastrades. It took six years before the group’s music appeared on Itunes, but once it was in 2010 sold two million Beatles songs in a week.

One of the reasons why the Beatles catalog has been so slow to come out on streaming sites is that it has protected reissues and retrospective, as when the Beatles cases, generates large sums, writes the BBC.
