– I’m incredibly happy. It’s crazy what you can do when you decide. Now I can look myself in the mirror and know that I love myself. Those who met me say that I beams of energy.
“Got back myself”
For the prize of SEK 250 000, he shall, inter alia, invite the participants that he came closest in the house on a trip.
– The best “Biggest Loser” is that you made friends for life and a knowledge that I will take with me on. For the journey ends not here, but it continues all the time. I’ve done this a part of my everyday life and part of my life.
The journey has done that Robert Sander now has a belief in himself that was not there before.
– I have regained myself as a person.
He hardly dare to think what would have happened if he had not sought out the program.
– Had I not been so had I sat at home now and playing computer games and weighed 160 kilograms instead.
Even in the finale
It was a subtle margin between first and second place in the season finale. Helena Edstrom , 22, came second after Robert with a difference of 0.9 percent.
– I saw the Robert and thought I had no chance. But this, I had not anticipated that it would be so close. It feels great, I’ve won already for myself, ‘she says.
After a starting weight 126.9 kg weight she now 74.6. Now, says Helena Edstrom her to celebrate that she got her life back.
– The best thing is that I have personally developed. This mental journey that everyone is buzzing about, I have really gone through and it has been both highs and lows. Now I can say I am a cheerful, happy and strong man.
“Be a lost soul”
Naghmeh “Naggie” Ghanbarzadeh , 23, weighed the least of all in this year’s starting field with its 98.1 pounds and finished in third place after a weight loss of 34.3 pounds.
– I did not know who I was, I was a lost soul. But now, damn, now I know what I want with my life and I’ve never felt this good. And if I did not make this journey, I can almost guarantee that I never went back to my great love who I am now living with.
The coaches Sabina Dufberg and Michael Hollsten say they are satisfied with the season.
– It has been an emotional season and are very loving. I get so overjoyed for their happiness. Everyone is a winner, says Sabina Dufberg.
