After a season of blood, sweat and tears, she can take a breather – and get ready for this year’s circus cookbook contracts and deals.
– It feels unreal. It’s a classic response, but I must say. Just thought I’d go to an audition and see how far it was, says Sandra.
For her it is difficult to explain why it was she and not the opponent Louis Brydolf who took home the victory.

Sandra’s winning recipe has been looking billets, thoughtful flavors and textures – and of course, to avoid eliminations.
– I got a damn good rhythm. I found myself and combined it with a hell of a fighter. Before each race just screamed the brain at me: “do it, bet,” she says.

– I had to conjure with the food and find the flavors and deep in completely new ways. I noticed that I was pretty damn good at it.
She continues with a laugh:
– I have a recollection that I actually chasing my daughter with salmon – and just “you should taste it! ” And she just “no, no, no!” But in the end when she actually tasted, so she said “oh, that was good.” You do not have to like everything, but you should taste it. This applies to adults as well.
During the finals was her husband, along with Sandra’s sister and two friends there for support.

After she cooked duck in surprise theme-Asian, trancherat a whole chicken before the jury and ended with his own right: cod, Sandra overwhelmed by the judges’ praise.
– I was very humbled by what they said. Leif Mannerström, my God, sits and praises what I am – an amateur cook – has done, she says.
Now she waits with bated breath to get launch their cookbook.
And plan for what she should do with the 250,000 crowns. A knife is high on the wish list – after a trip to Rome with her husband.
– My husband and my children, it is the most important in the world. Everything I do, I do for them and for our sake, she says.
