No, it’s no joke. Well, that’s it. But a little too seriously. Much evidence suggest that it was the genius (?) Homper Simpson, who first was the Higgs particle on the tracks.
In the summer of 2012 revealed a spokesperson for the laboratory, CERN, in Switzerland ( best known for his acclaimed particle accelerator that appeared in everything from South Park to one of Dan Brown’s novels) the discovery of the Higgs boson, or the Higgs boson as it is known.
But the British newspaper The Telegraph writes now that under writer Simon Singh was Homer Simpson and no one else who first approached the Higgs particle. Already in Simpson Section The Wizard of Evergreen Terrace from 1998, namely Homer in front of a painting with an advanced equation that circled the elusive particle.
– If you solve that equation brings up the mass of a Higgs particle that only is marginally larger than the Higgs particle actual nano mass. It is pretty amazing since Homer makes this prediction 14 years before the Higgs particle was discovered, says Simon Sing according to The Telegraph.
The author Simon Singh also says that several of the Simpsons screenwriter is a mathematician, and according to Singh Is Simpsons the most mathematical television series ever shown on prime time.
