Orange Is the New Black Back – Göteborgs-Posten

The Orange Is the New Black’ll be back soon. June 12 has season three of the popular prison series premiere on Netflix.

The Orange Is the New Black, we follow the protagonist Piper Chapman (Taylor Schilling) who is sentenced to prison since she indulged in drug smuggling and money laundering for his then girlfriend Alex (Laura Prepon). In the series we follow her in the women’s prison, with all rivalry, all the friendships that are made and intrigue that takes place there.

The series, based on the Piper Kermans memoir of the same name, is created by Jenji Kohan and has since its inception in 2013 has become immensely both attention and praise.

Now it is clear that the third season will premiere on Netflix June 12, writes magazine Variety.

Jason Biggs, who played Piper’s boyfriend Larry since the start of series production, however, will not participate in the new round.

“They do not focus on Larry the moment.” Biggs says the New York Daily News.

“He’s not in season 3. But there is always a possibility that he will return.”

Several other new series is also ready for the premiere on Netflix in the summer. Matrix siblings Wachowski new sci-fi thriller Sense8 will premiere June 5 and June 17 is the time for Wet Hot American Summer, a continuation of David Wain’s cult comedy from 2001 that takes place the last day of a summer camp 1981.

Another highlight of the channel’s summer range is What happened, Miss Simone, a biographical documentary about Nina Simone, directed by Liz Garbus. This Sundance showed a documentary broadcast on 26 June.
