– I get a lot of messages on Facebook and I’m usually nice and writes something back. The correspondence continued, and it was so nice and easy. I’ve never done anything like that before, but we just clicked and now it has been almost two years.

– Yes, I have, because I just flew across the ocean to meet you! says Christopher.
“She puts up with me”
What made him fall for Sandra, when after some mailing and a first meeting in Amsterdam continued dating?
– I like someone who loves to laugh, can be geeky and fun, and adventurous. She is down to earth, funny, a great mom, and personality. And she puts up with me, though I am like a five year old. It takes a special woman to put up with me, says Christopher.
Heavy goodbye
Sandra says Christopher makes her grow as a person and laugh every day.
The distance is tough, do both. They are trying to be seen at least every two months.
– the farewells are heavy. But we make it work, somehow, says Sandra.
– I have more time than she has, and when I come here I stay usually for six weeks. We skypar every day, making it easier, says Christopher.

– There is a small Volvo City. It’s cute, but I quickly becomes bored. I want to start a baseball team there or something.
The next week the couple camping with Sandra’s children. They cheat a little, think Christopher:
– It’s “glamping”. You know, there’s running water and showers, but we live in a tent. I have never camped in Sweden, so it will be great fun. I hope we can fish.
Weddings in Fiji?
Despite the distance, the pair looks positively to the future. Weddings are included somewhere in mind.
– Fiji would very much like us to come back, they want to arrange a wedding for us on the island where I played in “The Blue Lagoon”. I said: Not yet.
But it is not impossible, right?
– It is certainly not impossible. She’s a great girl. I’m very happy.
