Harrison Ford is back!
At Comic-Con, he met a cheering audience – for the first time after the dramatic air crash in March.
– I’m fine, ‘he said, and kissed “Star Wars” -kollegan Carrie Fisher.
It was a mighty reunion at the giant exhibition Comic-Con in San Diego . Han Solo ( Harrison Ford ), Princess Leia ( Carrie Fisher ) and Luke Skywalker ( Mark Hamill ) shared the stage with a bunch of Stormtroopers to present awaited “Star Wars: The Force awakens” which premieres in December this year.
The biggest cheers were Ford, 72, who made his first public appearance since the serious accident in March when he crashed his single-engine plane on a golf course in Los Angeles. He broke including pelvic leg and ankle and was hospitalized for weeks.
– I went here so how bad could it be? he joked before the cheering crowd.
“Should have seemed ridiculous”
He also told of the conflicting emotions before returning to the “Star Wars” universe.
– It should have seemed ridiculous. It was more than 30 years ago and I’ve grown up, kind. But here I was again. And I can tell you it felt wonderful.
Ford also explained how grateful he is for the opportunities of space films’ success has given him.
– It was the beginning of my professional life.
“Star Wars: The Force awakens” directed by JJ Abrams.
