Now it is clear that the Foo Fighters have to cancel tomorrow’s gig at the Pinkpop Festival in Holland and the next gig at the AFG Arena in Switzerland on 16 June. This after frontman Dave Grohl fell off the stage and broke his leg during yesterday’s concert at Ullevi stadium in Gothenburg.
In a statement on the Foo Fighters site writes the band that it is still unclear how severe Dave Grohls injury, and that it is because of what the band is now forced to adjust.

Foo Fighters concert at Ullevi stadium yesterday is already legendary. It was during the second song “Monkey Wrench” as Dave Grohl fell off the stage. Neither the audience or the band knew then how serious the case actually was.

– Hey, ladies and gentlemen. I love you but I think I just broke my leg. I really broke leg, said Dave Grohl before he was carried away on a stretcher.
The rest of the band declared then that there would be no playing with the Foo Fighters and started playing covers. But 15 minutes later appeared Dave Grohl to everyone’s surprise again on the scene.

With bandaged foot and crutches managed to Dave Grohl and the band carry on over two and a half hour-long concert. As had been broken leg in Gothenburg has already become a world first.
– I may not be able to walk or run but I can still play the guitar and scream, said Dave Grohl from the scene.
