Madonna honored the terrorist attack victims with outdoor concert – Aftonbladet

After his concert in Paris decided to Madonna to give an extraordinary performance – outdoors on the Place de la République.

Along with his 10 year old son, she sang, among including John Lennon’s “Imagine”.

The concert was a tribute to the 130 people who lost their lives in the terrorist attacks.

Madonna’s sold-out concert last night at Bercy stadium was not the star’s only concert in Paris. When it was over, tweeted her to his fans: “I sing songs on the Place de la République. Meet me there now.”

Along with guitarist Monte Pittman and his 10-year-old son David , she sang several songs outdoors on the square. They started with “Ghost Town” and then played “Imagine”, which unofficially has become an anthem after the terrorist attacks in Paris on 13 November.

Sang Peace

Several who came and watched the improvised concert filmed. In the film clips are heard loud applause and many thanks.

– Everybody knows why we are here. We only want to sing some songs about peace, to spread love and joy, and honor all who died almost four weeks ago, said Madonna.



“Do not give way to fear”

Even at Bercy arena honored Madonna terrorist attacks in their victims. The singer wrapped in the French flag and sang the French national anthem.

– We will not succumb to fear! I think of what happened four weeks ago now. Paris’s heart and the heart of France beats in the heart of each city, said the star.
